Religious Activities

From it’s modest beginnings as a family weekend farm, Forest Club has evolved to become a favorite venue for retreats, recollections, and similar spiritually oriented activities of various religious communities.

Regular clients include the Benedictine Sisters of the St. Scholastica Schools, the RVM Sisters of the St. Mary’s Schools, the Sisters of Siervas de San Jose, the SVD Fathers of San Carlos University, the Vincentian Fathers of Adamson University, and the Jesuits of the Ateneo. The Campus Ministry of the Archdiocese of Manila is another frequent visitor.

The Forest Club has also played host to activities of other religious groups such as the Neo-Catechumenal Way, Bread from Heaven, Ligaya ng Panginoon, Bethesda Springs of Hope Healing Ministry, L’arche, Heart’s Home, Ateneo Christian Life Community, Calvary Baptist Church, Day to Day Community, The Church of Jesus Christ, Christian Reform Church.

The enchanting surroundings of the Forest Club naturally invites visitors to inner reflection and silent prayer. The natural beauty of the place — the tropical flowers in bloom, the fluttering butterflies, the melodic singing of robins, the colorful plumes of kingfishers, the soothing sounds of clear water streams, the majesty of towering forest trees, the fireflies that illuminate the night sky, the fragrance of ilang-ilang trees — all contribute to a deeper appreciation of God’s creation, inspiring in all visitors a disposition of awe and thanksgiving before our Creator.

What endears the Forest Club to religious organizations is the peace, privacy and exclusivity that the owners of the place guarantees to all renewal activities. For once a spiritual activity is scheduled at the center, the Forest Club closes the place to all other guests, to ensure that the group using the place is able to maintain an atmosphere of peace and solemnity throughout their stay.
